Visit Gwalior Fort – one of India's most magnificent hill forts dating to the 8th century (fortified by Tomar and Mughal dynasties). See Teli Ka Mandir (ancient Vishnu temple blending Hindu & Buddhist design), and Saas Bahu Ka Mandir (pair of ornate temple sculptures). Time permitting, visit Jai Vilas Palace. Overnight in Gwalior.
