   Land at Paro International Airport, one of the world's most dramatic airport landings surrounded by the Himalayas. Meet your guide and transfer to Thimphu, the capital. Evening walk around Thimphu's clock tower square.

   Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass

   Drive over the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100m) adorned with 108 memorial chortens and breathtaking Himalayan views. Descend into the subtropical Punakha valley. Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong at the confluence of two rivers.

   Punakha – Suspension Bridge & Khamsum Temple

   Morning hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten through rural farmlands. Cross Bhutan's longest suspension bridge. Afternoon at leisure in Punakha. Overnight in Punakha.

   Punakha to Paro

   Return to Paro through the Dochula Pass. Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong). Evening stroll along the Paro River. Overnight in Paro.

   Tiger's Nest Trek (Taktsang Monastery)

   The highlight of the trip — a 4–5 hour round trek to the legendary Tiger's Nest Monastery, perched 900 meters above the Paro valley on a cliff face. The monastery is sacred to Guru Rinpoche who is said to have meditated here. Celebration dinner in the evening.
